Guinea-Bissau’s telecom regulator has approved Starlink’s provisional license to deliver satellite internet, advancing digital inclusion and nationwide connectivity.

The National Regulatory Authority for Information and Communication Technologies (ARN-TIC ) granted, this Thursday, April 10, 2025, the Provisional General Authorization to the company Starlink Guinea-Bissau, allowing it to operate in the national telecommunications market by offering internet access services via satellite.

This step represents an important milestone in the process of diversifying and expanding internet access in the country, in line with ARN-TIC’s efforts to promote digital inclusion and improve connectivity throughout the national territory.
