NILESAT and RASCOM sign an MoU to collaborate on satellite technology, research, and capacity building across Africa and the Middle East.

NILESAT and RASCOM have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Marketing Service Contract, marking the beginning of a dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership in the field of space science and satellite technology.
The MoU aims to enhance collaboration between the two organizations in the areas of satellite capacity sales, training, innovation, and research. Both parties have committed to sharing knowledge, platforms, applications, and satellite infrastructure to support the growth and development of space technology across Africa and the Middle East.
From NILESAT, the agreement was signed by Mr. Hesham Sallam, Chief Commercial Officer, while Mr. Timothy Ashong, Director General, represented RASCOM.
