President of the Republic of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko , marked the second day of his State Visit to Estonia with a series of strategic engagements focused on digital innovation and education.
During a visit to e-Estonia, President Boko explored how Estonia’s digital governance model has enhanced public service delivery, improved transparency, and empowered citizens. He later met with leading Estonian tech companies to discuss potential collaborations in digital infrastructure, with applications in sectors such as health, education, and finance.
The day also included a tour of Tallinn University of Technology, where President Boko examined Estonia’s successful collaboration between academia and industry—an approach Botswana is working to emulate.
He concluded his visit at Unicorn Squad, a robotics and tech program for girls, calling it a powerful example of how to break barriers and empower young women in STEM.
