OI-Led Initiative to Train 25,000 Kenyan Youth in AI Literacy by August 2025

The Otermans Institute (OI) has announced the launch of “The OI Lead Initiative,” a new program offering a free, certified AI Literacy program to empower Kenyan youth. This opportunity is specifically aimed at Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and charities actively involved in education across Kenya.
The initiative’s primary goal is to contribute to making Kenya a leader in AI literacy across Africa by upskilling underserved communities. It aims to equip young Kenyans with essential AI skills, regardless of their geographical location, to prepare them for the future of work.
The program, which has 25,000 spots available, is scheduled to run from August 1st to August 31st, 2025. Interested organizations must register by the deadline of July 11th, 2025. NGOs and charities are encouraged to check their qualification criteria and sign up through their website.
