Zambia Advances E-Government Goals with Smart Office System Demonstration
The initiative forms part of Zambia’s national e-government strategy, aimed at leveraging technology to modernize public service delivery and promote good governance.
The SMART Zambia Institute’s e-Government Division conducted a successful demonstration of the Smart Office system at the Ministry of Finance and National Planning yesterday, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.
Led by SMART Zambia officers Mr. Charles Mwanza and Mr. Mwanakampwe Gilcent, the demonstration highlighted how the Smart Office platform can enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and productivity across government institutions. The system features tools designed to streamline workflows, improve data management, and strengthen interdepartmental collaboration.
