Ericsson Kenya hosted a mentorship session for over 130 students at the MPESA Foundation Academy , focusing on the latest developments in emerging technologies. The session aimed to inspire and equip the next generation of innovators as they prepare for university and future careers in technology.
During the event, Ericsson experts introduced students to a wide range of transformative tech topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Green ICT, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and Cybersecurity. The engagement forms part of Ericsson’s broader effort to support youth development and digital education across the continent.
“This mentorship aligns with our commitment to accelerating Africa’s digital future,” the company stated, acknowledging the dedication of its team for facilitating a hands-on, insightful experience for the students.
The initiative is part of Ericsson’s AfricaInMotion agenda, designed to empower young talents and strengthen the tech ecosystem in Kenya and beyond.
