Nucleon Security Secures €3M to Drive Expansion Across Africa and Beyond

September 12, 2025
3 min read

This fundraising will enable Nucleon Security to industrialize its agentic AI technology across all its solutions, accelerate its commercial development in Europe and Africa, while continuing its strategic R&D efforts.

The cost of cyberattacks could reach $10.5 trillion in 2025 according to Cybersecurity Ventures, while the talent shortage remains acute: nearly 4 million cybersecurity professionals are missing worldwide, according to the World Bank.

In response, Nucleon Security  offers a new approach to proactive and automated cybersecurity, already adopted by more than a hundred clients across three continents.

A €3M funding round to accelerate industrialization and expansion

This fundraising will enable Nucleon Security to industrialize its agentic AI technology across all its solutions, accelerate its commercial development in Europe and Africa, while continuing its strategic R&D efforts.

Nucleon is carrying out this funding round alongside NewFund Capital, which is leading the round, as well as CDG Invest through its 212Founders program, LoftyInc Capital, Orange Ventures and Axian Group. The commitment of these partners confirms the relevance of Nucleon Security’s vision and its ambition to establish itself as a leading international player.

“We are not talking about concepts, but solutions that are already operational. Our ambition is to make cybersecurity proactive and accessible to all, enabling companies to gain visibility, efficiency, and resilience through a holistic platform combining Zero Trust and agentic AI. We welcome this funding round, which will also allow us to support a broader range of organizations of all sizes.”

Anas Chanaa, co-founder and CEO, Nucleon Security

“We are proud to support Nucleon Security, whose expertise in next-generation cybersecurity addresses a critical challenge for businesses. This investment reflects our confidence in their team and international ambition.”

Salim Hassad, Partner, Newfund

A Zero Trust platform covering the full defense cycle

Nucleon Security’s platform covers the entire defense cycle: endpoint protection with its Zero Trust EDR, blocking suspicious activity by default; 24/7 managed monitoring via sovereign MDR, ensuring local and independent handling of critical data; advanced malware analysis with Malprob AI, identifying new threats before they spread; and ScorX, a technology that prioritizes alerts and highlights critical threats.

Adaptive cybersecurity powered by Agentic AI

With its Zero Trust approach, Nucleon Security continuously adapts protection to the organizations’ real use, offering contextual and scalable security. This is reinforced by agentic AI, which goes beyond traditional AI: instead of only analyzing and alerting, it acts as an autonomous agent, capable of analyzing, deciding, acting, and learning continuously. At Nucleon Security, this AI serves as a true co-pilot for cybersecurity teams across the entire cycle: prevention, detection, response, and remediation.
