The initiative is designed to prepare young Algerians for the jobs of the future by offering free training in artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

Algeria Telecom  has signed a framework partnership agreement with the Directorate of Youth and Sports (DJS) of Sétif, aimed at expanding access to the country’s first Skills Center and equipping young people with advanced digital skills.

The agreement, signed on September 27, 2025, builds on the government’s national digital transformation strategy. The Skills Center, inaugurated earlier this year by Minister of Post and Telecommunications Sid Ali Zerrouki, serves as a hub for innovation and youth empowerment.

The initiative is designed to prepare young Algerians for the jobs of the future by offering free training in artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Participants will also have access to collaborative spaces and a dedicated AI laboratory to help them develop innovative projects.

The signing ceremony took place at the Skills Center in Sétif, attended by Djamel Zebdi, Director of Youth and Sports, and Abdelhakim Moussaoui, Operating Director of Telecommunications at Algeria Telecom, along with local officials, association leaders, and directors of youth homes.

The project complements existing collaborations between the Skills Center, universities, and public institutions, reinforcing Algeria Telecom’s commitment to supporting the digital economy while empowering the country’s youth.
