Beyond hardware improvements, Alexa+ integrates deeper conversational abilities and smarter functionality across daily life, from home organization and entertainment to health, wellness, and shopping.

Amazon  has announced the launch of four new Echo devices designed to support Alexa+, its next-generation AI assistant. The new lineup includes the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11, all engineered with enhanced processing power, edge-based computing, and advanced sensing technology to deliver more personalized and ambient AI experiences. Customers who purchase any of the new Echo devices will automatically receive access to Alexa+ out of the box.

At the core of these devices are two new custom silicon chips, AZ3 and AZ3 Pro, built with AI accelerators to power advanced models for speech, vision, and ambient interaction. The Echo Dot Max, priced at $99.99, features a redesigned two-speaker system delivering nearly three times the bass of its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Echo Studio introduces a compact yet powerful speaker with spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support, available at $219.99.

The new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 smart displays combine upgraded HD visuals with enhanced audio systems and intelligent sensing capabilities. Equipped with 13-megapixel cameras, these devices adapt their displays to lighting conditions and personalize interactions by recognizing users as they approach. The Echo Show 8 will retail for $179.99, while the Echo Show 11 will be available at $219.99.

Beyond hardware improvements, Alexa+ integrates deeper conversational abilities and smarter functionality across daily life, from home organization and entertainment to health, wellness, and shopping. Amazon also announced the upcoming Alexa+ Store, which will serve as a hub for discovering third-party services and integrations.

The Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio will be available from October 29, while the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 are set to launch on November 12.
