Kenya Explores Collaboration with Safetech Innovations to Bolster Cyber Defenses

Hon. William Kabogo Gitau has underscored the importance of global partnerships in advancing Kenya’s cybersecurity capabilities following a visit to Safetech Innovations, a leading cybersecurity firm headquartered in Romania with operations in the UK, USA, and UAE.
Established in 2011, Safetech Innovations specializes in cybersecurity consultancy, security assessments, testing, audits, incident response, and systems integration. The company also operates Safetech CERT, Romania’s first private Computer Emergency Response Team, which has become a model for proactive cyber defense.
During the visit, discussions focused on potential collaborations in cybersecurity capacity building, knowledge exchange, and piloting innovative security solutions developed by Safetech.
