Cybastion Welcomes Mauritanian Ambassador to Discuss Digital Transformation Partnership
During the visit, Cybastion executives and the Mauritanian delegation discussed avenues for collaboration on digital transformation through the Digital Fast Track (DFT) initiative — an accelerated roadmap designed to advance Africa’s digital sovereignty.
Cybastion was honored to welcome H.E. Cissé Mint Cheikh Ould Boid, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States, along with an embassy delegation, to its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
During the visit, Cybastion executives and the Mauritanian delegation discussed avenues for collaboration on digital transformation through the Digital Fast Track (DFT) initiative — an accelerated roadmap designed to advance Africa’s digital sovereignty. The dialogue explored how DFT’s solutions can support Mauritania’s strategic goals to enhance its digital infrastructure, build secure e-government systems, and nurture the next generation of digital professionals.
Cybastion’s leadership team in attendance included Armand Tchokokam, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Financial Officer; Scott Blacklin, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs; Antonio Espirito Santo, Government Affairs Coordinator; Mohamed Dembele, Managing Partner, Cybersecurity Business Unit; and Shanta Bryant Gyan, Communications Director.
As part of the visit, Ambassador Boid also toured George Mason University’s Innovation Lab at the Fuse Building. The tour, led by Lisa Donnan, Chair of Mason Engineering’s Advisory Board, and Dr. Duminda Wijesekera, Director of Mason Innovation Labs, highlighted Cybastion’s ongoing partnership with GMU. The visit showcased how innovation, creativity, and academic collaboration can help drive resilient and inclusive digital economies across Africa.
