e& Reports Record Net Profit and Accelerates 5G and AI Ecosystem Growth Across the UAE
By aligning significant financial growth with strategic investments in infrastructure, cloud, 5G and AI, e& is positioning itself as a central enabler of the UAE’s broader digital economy ambitions.
In the first half of 2025, e& posted a consolidated net profit of AED 8.8 billion, representing a 60.7% year-on-year increase. Concurrently, its revenue climbed to AED 34.9 billion—up 23.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
Beyond the financial metrics, e& is aggressively scaling its 5G and AI ecosystem in the UAE. A key milestone is the establishment of the “UAE Sovereign Cloud Launchpad,” developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the UAE Cybersecurity Council. This initiative supports ambitions for digital sovereignty, secure AI deployment, and cloud innovation, and is projected to contribute over US $181 billion to the UAE’s digital economy by 2033.
On the network front, e& UAE has maintained its leadership with a 99.5% fibre-to-the-home coverage rate, while rolling out commercial 5G network slicing solutions for enterprises. These allow tailored, high-performance connectivity for industries such as manufacturing, public safety, and port operations.
Complementing the connectivity expansion, e& is embedding AI throughout its consumer and enterprise services. For consumers, fintech and entertainment offerings have accelerated, with digital payments volumes growing and content platforms reaching further scale. On the enterprise side, e& is enabling edge AI, industrial IoT, and private 5G deployments—empowering organisations to adopt advanced digital workflows and real-time automation.
By aligning significant financial growth with strategic investments in infrastructure, cloud, 5G and AI, e& is positioning itself as a central enabler of the UAE’s broader digital economy ambitions. The company’s expansion of its technical ecosystem and its ability to deliver measurable results reflect both its commercial strength and its role in shaping the future of digital services in the region.
