Somalia’s Communications Minister Meets Telecom Leaders to Strengthen Digital Collaboration
The discussion focused on improving the quality of telecommunication services in Somalia and strengthening public–private collaboration in the sector.
The Minister of Communications and Technology of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Aadan Macallim (Soomaali), held a high-level meeting with the chief executives of the country’s leading telecommunication companies. The discussion focused on improving the quality of telecommunication services in Somalia and strengthening public–private collaboration in the sector.
The meeting, attended by the Director General of the Ministry and senior officials from various telecom operators, reviewed the progress of the communication sector, existing challenges, and Somalia’s long-term vision for a digitally connected nation.
Minister Soomali emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to digital transformation and the establishment of a modern communication infrastructure that delivers reliable, accessible, and innovative services to the Somali people.
