IFS Names Robi Gone CIO to Guide Global IT Strategy and Enterprise Transformation
Robi joins IFS from Shell, where he held senior IT leadership roles for over a decade. Most recently, he served as IT Global GM for Finance, leading Shell’s digital transformation initiatives through next-generation ERP systems.
IFS, the global leader in Industrial AI software, announced the appointment of Robi Gone as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Robi succeeds Helena Nimmo, who is retiring after a tenure marked by strategic IT leadership and advocacy for diversity and inclusion. He will report directly to Mark Moffat, CEO of IFS, and join the IFS Executive Board, leading the company’s global IT strategy.
Robi joins IFS from Shell, where he held senior IT leadership roles for over a decade. Most recently, he served as IT Global GM for Finance, leading Shell’s digital transformation initiatives through next-generation ERP systems. In this role, Robi oversaw global programs spanning finance platforms, enterprise performance management, and SaaS implementations. Prior to Shell, he built expertise in enterprise IT and transformation through consulting roles at Deloitte and Accenture.
At IFS, Robi will focus on designing and delivering large-scale digital backbones, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing global IT teams. His appointment comes as IFS continues to modernize its technology infrastructure to support its leadership in Industrial AI.
