The agreement was signed during the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS), marking a major step in enhancing regional cyber defense capacity and professional development.

Paramount,  a leading cybersecurity solutions provider in the Middle East, has entered into a strategic partnership with Bahrain’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC)  to deliver world-class MITRE D3FEND cybersecurity training. The agreement was signed during the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS), marking a major step in enhancing regional cyber defense capacity and professional development.

The collaboration brings together NCSC’s leadership in cybersecurity governance with Paramount’s technical expertise and training delivery capabilities. The initiative aims to strengthen digital resilience across Bahrain and the wider Gulf region through specialized education, professional certification, and capacity-building programs focused on defensive cybersecurity strategies.

Under the partnership, NCSC guided the program’s strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, and oversight, while Paramount led curriculum development, technical training, and certification services. The training covered over 245 defensive countermeasures across key tactical domains such as behavioral analysis, system hardening, network isolation, deception technologies, and advanced threat mitigation — all aligned with the globally recognized MITRE D3FEND framework.

The program included an intensive two-day technical workshop offering practical, lab-based exercises for cybersecurity professionals, alongside a dedicated executive session designed to help senior leaders strengthen governance, compliance, and critical infrastructure protection. Successful participants were awarded professional certification jointly issued by NCSC and Paramount.

This collaboration comes as cybersecurity investment continues to accelerate across the GCC, with the regional market projected to grow from USD 5.7 billion in 2024 to USD 9 billion by 2033. By equipping cybersecurity practitioners with globally benchmarked skills and frameworks, the MITRE D3FEND program reinforces Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for cybersecurity excellence and supports the Gulf’s broader vision of digital resilience and innovation.
