Telecel and Huawei Partner to Advance Network Modernisation in Ghana

Telecel Group  and Huawei  have signed a $70 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to modernise telecommunications networks and accelerate digital transformation in Ghana.

The multi-phase Telecel Ghana Rollout Project, launched in November 2025, is set to enhance network performance and deliver next-generation services to consumers and enterprises. The initiative focuses on expanding connectivity, improving reliability, and supporting innovative digital solutions across the country.

The partnership highlights a shared commitment to building an intelligent, inclusive, and connected digital future for Ghana. By strengthening the country’s telecom infrastructure, the collaboration aims to support sustainable growth and further accelerate digitalisation in the region.
