Since its inception, the hub has invested $30 million in local and regional initiatives, with an additional $80 million earmarked over the next three years under a recent MoU signed at the Global Offshoring Summit to strengthen Egypt’s digital ecosystem.

Deloitte Innovation Hub  in Cairo has marked its second anniversary, celebrating its emergence as a leading centre for digital transformation both regionally and globally. Since its inception, the hub has invested $30 million in local and regional initiatives, with an additional $80 million earmarked over the next three years under a recent MoU signed at the Global Offshoring Summit to strengthen Egypt’s digital ecosystem.

Starting with a modest team of 23 experts, the Deloitte Innovation Hub has expanded to over 600 specialists delivering services to hundreds of clients across the EMEA region. Officially inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the hub has become a major driver of digital transformation, offering next-generation solutions in AI, cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise technology, and cybersecurity. Its multidisciplinary teams support sectors including finance, consumer goods, telecommunications, healthcare, government, and Global Business Services (GBS), providing Egyptian talent with valuable international experience.

The hub emphasizes inclusivity and employee development, fostering a high-performance culture with a balanced 50/50 gender ratio. It invests in professional growth through world-class training programs, certification pathways, and leadership initiatives, while prioritizing employee well-being through initiatives such as the Deloitte Employee Assistance Program (DEAP).

Hani Girgis, CEO & Managing Partner of Deloitte Innovation Hub, highlighted the hub’s role in Egypt’s digital rise, stating that Cairo-based teams are redefining how technology is deployed across industries globally. COO Ahmed Salem emphasized the hub’s focus on engineering end-to-end digital solutions that drive tangible business outcomes, from intelligent automation to secure cloud migration, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a leading offshoring destination.

Beyond technology, Deloitte Innovation Hub actively contributes to community development and sustainability. It has partnered with the Information Technology Institute (ITI) to launch Egypt’s first national ServiceNow training initiative, supporting youth employment and skill development. Through programs such as the Bridge Internship and Mentorship Programs, over 1,600 individuals have been trained. The hub also engages in CSR initiatives, partnering with organizations like Baheya Foundation and Hospital 57357, logging more than 2,100 volunteer hours since June 2025, while implementing eco-conscious practices across its operations.

As it enters its third year, Deloitte Innovation Hub continues to position Cairo as a global hub for digital excellence, leveraging collaboration between global expertise and Egyptian talent to drive impactful innovation and advance Egypt’s role in shaping the future of technology worldwide.
