Sophos Intelix Now Powers Microsoft Security Copilot and 365 Copilot for Smarter Threat Detection
These integrations reflect Sophos’ mission to democratize cybersecurity, giving businesses of all sizes access to the same advanced intelligence leveraged by professional SOC teams, and embedding real-time security insights directly into Microsoft’s AI-powered productivity and security tools.
Sophos, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, has announced the general availability of its new integrations connecting Sophos Intelix—its advanced cyber threat intelligence platform—with Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Introduced at the Microsoft Ignite Conference in San Francisco, these integrations provide organizations of all sizes with real-time access to Sophos threat intelligence within Microsoft’s AI-powered environments, helping them strengthen defenses and respond more effectively to cyber threats.
Sophos processes over 223 terabytes of telemetry daily through its Sophos Central platform, generating more than 34 million detections and automatically blocking over 11 million threats. This massive flow of data informs Sophos Intelix, which is now accessible for free to users of Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, enabling organizations to leverage real-time insights from Sophos’ global operations protecting over 600,000 organizations.
Integration with Microsoft Security Copilot enables Security Operation Center (SOC) and IT teams to enrich alerts, triage incidents faster, and investigate indicators of compromise (IOCs) with file, URL, and IP reputation lookups. Analysts can access global threat insights and prevalence data directly within Security Copilot, helping teams respond to threats more efficiently. Sophos Intelix is also available via Microsoft’s new Security Store for third-party agents, services, and APIs.
Integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot extends Sophos’ threat intelligence into everyday productivity tools, including Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. Users, including IT administrators, risk managers, and business teams, can query Sophos threat intelligence in natural language, check files, links, or domains for malicious activity, and make faster, better-informed cybersecurity decisions without leaving their workflow.
These integrations reflect Sophos’ mission to democratize cybersecurity, giving businesses of all sizes access to the same advanced intelligence leveraged by professional SOC teams, and embedding real-time security insights directly into Microsoft’s AI-powered productivity and security tools.
