Mauritania and United States Deepen Cooperation on Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity
Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening technical partnerships and exploring investment opportunities that would accelerate Mauritania’s digital transformation agenda.
The Minister of Digital Transformation and the Modernization of Administration, Mr. Ahmed Saleem Ould Badh, received today at his office the Commercial Attaché of the United States Embassy in Mauritania, Ms. Corina Sanders. She was accompanied by Economic Advisor Mr. Matthew Ryan and Economic Advisor Ms. Faiza Hashem.
The meeting focused on strengthening Mauritania–U.S. cooperation in digital infrastructure, e-commerce, and cybersecurity. Discussions centered on expanding bilateral collaboration to support national capabilities and develop a robust, secure digital ecosystem.

In attendance were senior officials from the Ministry, including the Secretary-General Mr. Khaled Abedine Sir, Commissioner of the Mission Mr. Mohamed Al-Mukhtar Yahya Mohamedin, Director of Strategy and Cooperation Mr. Terno Bah Rou, and Director of Systems and Security Administration Mr. Cheikh Omar Ly.
