Author: Akim Benamara

The initiative aims to enhance compliance knowledge, strengthen regulatory readiness, and align workforce capabilities with global best practices in the financial sector.

The Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF)  has signed a strategic agreement with BENEFIT Company to develop and deliver a self-paced electronic training programme in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) for the company’s employees. The initiative aims to enhance compliance knowledge, strengthen regulatory readiness, and align workforce capabilities with global best practices in the financial sector.

Under the agreement, BIBF will design a comprehensive eLearning programme tailored to BENEFIT’s operational environment and regulatory requirements. The training will provide an interactive learning experience, enabling staff to understand AML risks, apply policies effectively, and adhere to relevant rules and regulations. The programme will be delivered through BIBF’s digital learning platform, allowing employees to complete the training at their own pace while enabling performance tracking and reporting for compliance purposes.

This initiative forms part of broader national efforts to develop human capital in Bahrain’s financial sector, strengthen the financial system, and support the country’s long-term national vision. It reflects the commitment of both BIBF and BENEFIT to creating a sustainable and well-regulated financial ecosystem by equipping employees with essential skills and knowledge for a resilient and future-ready sector.
