NBK Enhances Mobile Banking App with New Features for Seamless and Secure Digital Experience

These updates offer customers enhanced clarity and control over their transactions, enabling faster detection of suspicious activity and reinforcing the security of their digital banking experience.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK)  has announced a series of significant updates to its NBK Mobile Banking App, reinforcing its leadership in digital banking innovation and commitment to providing customers with a seamless, secure, and convenient banking experience.

The enhancements introduce new features and improved functionality that empower customers to manage their finances anytime, anywhere, while aligning with modern lifestyles and the highest global standards of security and quality.

 

Digital Wallet Management

Among the new features, Digital Wallet Management enables users to view all digital wallets and devices where their credit, debit, or prepaid cards are stored, including platforms such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Garmin Pay. This functionality gives customers full visibility and control over their cards, allowing them to promptly identify any unauthorized usage and take immediate action, enhancing overall security and peace of mind.

 

Redesigned Notifications Center

The app’s Notifications Center has also been redesigned to encourage users to transition from SMS to push notifications. Key improvements include:

  • Displaying a card image alongside credit and prepaid card notifications.
  • Showing the merchant name for each transaction.
  • Providing a clearer, organized transaction list for easier tracking.
  • Introducing a search function for notifications.

These updates offer customers enhanced clarity and control over their transactions, enabling faster detection of suspicious activity and reinforcing the security of their digital banking experience.

NBK emphasized that these enhancements reflect its ongoing commitment to strengthening digital flexibility and delivering innovative solutions that combine convenience, security, and efficiency for its customers.
