The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has reported a landmark year in 2025, achieving remarkable progress in digital skills development, workforce training, and support for the labor market. Operating under the strategic vision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Institute continues to solidify its role as a national and regional center of excellence for training, research, and applied innovation.
Throughout the year, NTI implemented a comprehensive system of training, educational, and awareness programs, graduating tens of thousands of participants across its two main campuses in Cairo and an extensive network of over 24 Digital Creativity Centers (Creativa) nationwide. The Digital Creation Center in Al-Maraa, part of the new administrative capital, ensured equitable access to training opportunities across Egypt.
The Institute’s flagship initiatives, including the Digital Youth of Egypt | Ready for Employment Program, trained 1,742 participants with an employment rate exceeding 87%, in collaboration with more than 85 local and international companies. Complementary programs, such as Career Launch and Job-Tech, offered practical technical internships, achieving employment rates of 100% for participants. Similarly, the Digital Youth Creativity Centers – Free Work Initiative trained 6,551 interns, with over 73% securing freelance opportunities or completing real-world projects.
NTI also placed strong emphasis on cybersecurity and emerging technologies, training over 5,000 participants across 15 governorates through its Cyber Security Academy. International partnerships with AWS, Cisco, IBM, Huawei, Red Hat, VMware, Fortinet, and Avaya further strengthened the Institute’s global accreditation and workforce readiness.
Supporting government digital transformation, NTI trained nearly 10,000 state employees, including 9,354 under the Digital Leadership Program, and reached 7,262 AI Ambassadors who promoted responsible AI usage. Academically, NTI accredited six diploma specializations in critical fields such as Networks, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, while enrolling 487 interns in diploma and master’s programs under its Digital Pioneers Initiative.
The Institute’s advanced infrastructure, including fiber optics, mobile technology labs, cloud computing, and applied research facilities, enabled the production of 2,600 Printed Electronic Circuit (PCB) panels for student projects and industry use, along with technical validations for national telecom standards.
Overall, NTI’s initiatives in 2025 reached 49,310 beneficiaries, underscoring the Institute’s pivotal role in building Egypt’s digital capacity, supporting workforce development, and strengthening the country’s regional and international competitiveness in the digital economy.
