Upon completion, subscribers in Yambio will benefit from stronger coverage, clearer calls, faster data speeds, and an overall improved service experience.

MTN South Sudan  has issued an update regarding ongoing service disruptions in Yambio, caused by its network modernization project aimed at upgrading the area to a faster and more reliable 4G network. The company extended an apology to affected customers for any inconvenience during this transition.

The modernization work, which began in December 2025, is progressing steadily and is expected to conclude within the next two weeks. Upon completion, subscribers in Yambio will benefit from stronger coverage, clearer calls, faster data speeds, and an overall improved service experience.

MTN emphasized that the upgrade forms part of its broader commitment to investing in enhanced connectivity across South Sudan, ensuring that customers enjoy a seamless mobile experience. The company thanked residents for their patience and understanding during the modernization process.
