BankDhofar Launches Numo, Offering SMEs Dedicated Support and Digital Tools

BankDhofar has officially launched Numo, its new dedicated brand for SME banking services, marking a significant step in strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Sultanate. The launch took place at a special event held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, highlighting the strategic importance of SMEs as a driver of sustainable economic growth in Oman.
Through Numo, BankDhofar aims to support businesses at every stage of their journey—from early ideas to scaling products for regional and global markets—by offering specialized, integrated banking solutions tailored to SME needs. The initiative aligns with Oman Vision 2040’s economic diversification goals and reinforces the bank’s broader SME and corporate banking strategy.
On the sidelines of the launch, BankDhofar signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) to simplify and accelerate transactions for SME customers. Under the agreement, SMEs banking with BankDhofar will be able to access a wide range of government services through Sanad offices located across all governorates and wilayats in the Sultanate. The agreement was signed by Ahmed bin Said Al Ibrahim, Chief Government Banking Officer at BankDhofar, and H.E. Dr. Saleh bin Saeed Masan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry at MoCIIP.
