Designed to transform how people discover and engage with modern technology, NMK Beyond provides a fully immersive environment where visitors can see, hear, and experience innovation firsthand—beyond the limitations of screens, catalogues, or traditional product displays.
NMK Electronics, a Midwich Group company, has officially launched NMK Beyond, a state-of-the-art 21,500‑square‑foot technology experience hub in Al Quoz, Dubai. Designed to transform how people discover and engage with modern technology, NMK Beyond provides a fully immersive environment where visitors can see, hear, and experience innovation firsthand—beyond the limitations of screens, catalogues, or traditional product displays.
The facility caters to professionals, creators, and future innovators, bringing together the latest in audio, video, lighting, control, infrastructure, and collaboration technologies within dynamic spaces that replicate real workplaces, studios, classrooms, and entertainment venues. Stephen Fenby, Managing Director at the Midwich Group, noted that NMK Beyond “reflects how technology is fundamentally changing the way people work, learn, and collaborate” and provides a practical space for the industry to explore and test technologies in real-world settings.
A first-of-its-kind technology playground, NMK Beyond features immersive audio-visual environments, a Dolby Atmos-enabled recording and listening studio, AI-powered meeting, training, and collaboration rooms, content creation zones, and realistic setups demonstrating technology behavior in actual installations. Alex Kemanes, Regional Managing Director, MESEA at Midwich Group, explained that the space was designed for non-technical users, allowing technology to operate seamlessly in the background so visitors can experience and understand its value through direct interaction.
Beyond showcasing innovation, NMK Beyond also serves as a hub for upskilling the region’s technology workforce. In 2025, the centre welcomed over 6,000 visitors, including more than 4,000 industry professionals who participated in hands-on training, certifications, and interactive demonstrations. Students and emerging professionals regularly use the facility to explore technology applications in production and enterprise environments, shaping the next generation of AV and tech specialists. The hub has hosted global industry figures such as Greg Price, live sound engineer for Metallica, and showcases technologies used by performers like Coldplay, illustrating how tools designed for world stages are transforming workplaces, classrooms, and creative industries.
At the launch, NMK Electronics announced several strategic developments, including becoming the exclusive GCC distributor for Neat, a leading collaboration solutions brand, and opening a new Control Room within NMK Beyond to expand capabilities for critical operations environments.
With nearly four decades of experience, NMK Electronics, part of the Midwich Group, has long supplied professional technology solutions across the Middle East. The launch of NMK Beyond reinforces the company’s commitment to the region, providing a dedicated space for innovation to be explored, validated, and understood before deployment in real-world projects.
