MTN Rwanda emphasized that this partnership reflects its commitment to empowering youth with the digital skills necessary for the country’s growing knowledge economy.

Today, in a move aimed at strengthening Rwanda’s education sector through technology, MTN Rwanda  and the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC ) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalizing a long-term partnership.

At the center of the collaboration is MTN’s Digital Skills for Digital Jobs platform, which will be integrated into MINEDUC’s upcoming RISE program, targeting youth who have not completed formal schooling. The platform provides career guidance and access to over 500 digital skills courses, creating pathways for young Rwandans to turn connectivity into practical, life-changing opportunities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Honorable Minister Paula Ingabire, Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation,  and the Hon. Minister of Public Service and Labour, Amb. Christine Nkulikiyinka, highlighting a shared vision for a digitally inclusive Rwanda.
