Airtel Nigeria Unveils Next-Gen Network Upgrades to Boost Quality of Service

Airtel Nigeria  has outlined the next phase of growth for the country’s telecommunications sector, highlighting significant advancements in quality of service (QoS). During its first media roundtable of 2026, the company presented updates on investments in network infrastructure, technology, and services, positioning itself as a leader in delivering reliable connectivity across Nigeria.

The session featured Airtel Nigeria’s CEO, Dinesh Balsingh, alongside executive council members and subject matter experts, engaging senior ICT, business, and technology journalists in discussions on how recent investments over the past 12–24 months are translating into tangible benefits for retail and enterprise customers, as well as contributing to the broader economy.

Airtel’s strategy focuses on building a high-capacity, future-ready network, encompassing mobile and fibre infrastructure, expanded spectrum, cloud and IT systems, retail reach, and emerging technologies. These upgrades are designed to support the ways Nigerians live, work, and connect, ensuring seamless digital experiences nationwide.

Quality of service improvements are central to Airtel’s approach, with emphasis on network resilience, redundancy, and intelligence. Investments in fibre, cloud, and satellite-enabled connectivity are intended to help businesses scale efficiently and maintain reliable service regardless of location.
