The discussions focused on opportunities to implement strategic projects that could strengthen public policies and ensure precise execution.

The Minister of the Digital Economy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Augustin Kibassa Maliba, met on February 5, 2026, with investors from the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, and India to explore potential collaborations in the country’s digital and infrastructure sectors.

Representatives of Dirasset International, a Tunisian company, along with the Bayayi Group, which operates in distribution, agriculture, logistics, and insurance, presented their expertise in urban planning and territorial development to the minister. The discussions focused on opportunities to implement strategic projects that could strengthen public policies and ensure precise execution.

Representatives from The Founding, based in the UAE and India, also shared plans for developing data centers aimed at supporting the growth of digital infrastructure in the DRC. The minister proposed establishing a working committee to review projects, define technical requirements, and coordinate with his ministry to ensure effective implementation.

These meetings are part of the DRC government’s broader strategy to attract foreign investment and enhance the national digital ecosystem.
