This latest investment not only reinforces confidence in Talk360’s mission to become the world’s most reliable calling app, but also highlights the company’s unique value proposition—enabling African diaspora communities, international travelers, and global businesses to make high-quality calls at savings of up to 90% compared to traditional telecom providers.

Talk360,  the global calling app connecting users to their homes and businesses, has achieved a significant funding milestone with a $1.4 million secondary investment led by South Africa’s HAVAÍC, the company’s lead investor since 2022. The round also saw participation from Universum Wealth, a limited partner in HAVAÍC’s $50 million African Innovation Fund, joining as a new shareholder.

The transaction has provided early angel investors, who have supported Talk360 since its inception in 2016, the opportunity for partial liquidity, with some realizing returns of up to five times their initial investment. At the same time, the move consolidates the company’s capitalization structure, aligning investors for its next growth phase as a profitable and scalable business.

Beyond Talk360, this deal signals a broader trend in the South African startup ecosystem, where momentum is building following multiple fintech exits in 2025. Scale-ups are maturing, partial exits are becoming more frequent, and a healthier capital cycle is taking shape—demonstrating how successful investments can fuel new rounds of funding and continued growth across the region.
