The certification confirms that HyperPay meets Saudi Arabia’s national payment regulations and technical standards, strengthening its role as a trusted infrastructure partner for merchants, banks, and enterprises operating in the country’s fast-growing digital payments sector.

HyperPay,  a prominent payment gateway provider in the Middle East, has secured National Payment Gateway (NPG) certification from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), marking a significant step in its regulatory and technical alignment within the Kingdom. The certification confirms that HyperPay meets Saudi Arabia’s national payment regulations and technical standards, strengthening its role as a trusted infrastructure partner for merchants, banks, and enterprises operating in the country’s fast-growing digital payments sector.

The NPG certification highlights HyperPay’s adherence to strict requirements around payment security, interoperability, and compliance. By integrating with the national payment infrastructure, the company can deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions for both domestic and cross-border transactions. The move supports businesses seeking a compliant gateway that aligns with Saudi Arabia’s framework for a unified and resilient digital payments ecosystem.

Company leadership described the milestone as a reflection of continued investment in technology and compliance capabilities. The certification enhances HyperPay’s capacity to support financial institutions and merchants with infrastructure designed to meet national standards while enabling seamless payment experiences. It also reinforces the firm’s positioning as a fully compliant provider committed to long-term partnerships across the Kingdom.

The development contributes to the broader goals of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy strategy. As part of SAMA’s E-commerce Payments Interface and Vision 2030 initiatives, the NPG framework represents a major modernization effort aimed at standardizing and securing online payments nationwide. HyperPay’s certification places it among the providers equipped to support this transformation and the ongoing evolution of digital commerce in Saudi Arabia.
