February 12, 2026
2 min read

Career Days serve as a key platform for exchange, discovery, and dialogue among young people, training institutions, companies, and professionals from various sectors.

On February 9, 2026, the Ministry of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education (MENAET)  held the national launch of the 13th edition of the “Career Days” at the Palace of Culture Treichville in Abidjan. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. SANGARE Moustapha, Cabinet Director, on behalf of the Minister, Dr. N’Guessan KOFFI.

Career Days serve as a key platform for exchange, discovery, and dialogue among young people, training institutions, companies, and professionals from various sectors. During his opening remarks, the Cabinet Director emphasized that career guidance should extend beyond general education streams, highlighting the importance of providing learners with comprehensive information on all training opportunities. He explained that this initiative aims to help students make informed career choices, discover their passions, and strengthen the connection between schools and the professional world.

A panel organized by MENAET’s Directorate of Orientations and Bursaries (DOB) focused on the theme of this year’s edition: “Artificial Intelligence: What skills and jobs for a youth engaged in the sustainable transformation of the Ivory Coast?” Participants discussed the opportunities and challenges of AI while also considering its ethical, social, and environmental implications. The discussions aimed to equip youth with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in a technology-driven and sustainable economy.
