Egypt Launches Revamped Egypt Innovate Platform to Boost Innovation and Entrepreneurship

In a bid to foster a knowledge-based economy, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA)  has launched the upgraded Egypt Innovate platform, the country’s first fully integrated national digital hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Developed by a consortium led by Entlaq, alongside Robusta and Kamelizer, the platform debuted during the AI Everything Middle East and Africa Summit at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre, an event attended by tech leaders, policymakers, investors, and representatives from over 30 countries.

Egypt Innovate acts as a central digital hub linking government initiatives with the private sector. It connects startups, investors, universities, and research institutions, strengthening Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and boosting its global competitiveness. The platform boasts over 81,000 registered users, including entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem supporters, supported by a core advisory community of more than 20 specialized experts.

Operating under an Open Data model, the platform provides public access to verified information, encouraging collaboration and smooth connections between entrepreneurs and support entities. Among its features is an AI-powered smart assistant that guides entrepreneurs and simplifies access to opportunities. It also offers a dynamic database highlighting business models and technological innovations, enabling entrepreneurs to attract local and international investment more efficiently.

ITIDA emphasized that Egypt Innovate accelerates the transformation of ideas into scalable ventures, positioning Egypt as a regional technology hub. The platform also includes an integrated learning and development center, providing training, innovation tools, mentorship, virtual simulations, and a talent-matching system to support workforce mobility and retention in Egypt.
