BCX Leadership Transition as Jonas Bogoshi Retires After Distinguished Tenure

The Group announces that Jonas Bogoshi, Chief Executive Officer of BCX,  will be stepping down from his Group Executive role with effect from 28 February 2026, following a long and distinguished career. The Board thanks him for his service, leadership and contribution to the Group.

At BCX, focused management actions remain in place to support operational and margin discipline as the business navigates a managed process of change. BCX continues to navigate cautious enterprise spending as clients contain costs, while progressing its planned portfolio and revenue transition. This transition coincides with the retirement of Mr Bogoshi, who was instrumental in laying the foundation for the next phase of BCX’s strategic review.

Bogoshi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of BCX in June 2018 and has played a pivotal role in positioning BCX as a core component of Telkom’s enterprise capability. During his tenure, BCX strengthened its ability to support customers with integrated ICT services and solutions, including secure connectivity, cloud, cyber security and managed services.

Bogoshi worked closely with the Board, the Group Executive Committee and the BCX leadership team to support the One Telkom journey, underpinned by a data-led strategy focused on stronger execution. This included sharpening focus on core capabilities and supporting customers as they navigate a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Telkom Group further announces that Hasnain Motlekar, who oversees the commercial activities of Telkom Business, will act in the role of Chief Executive Officer for BCX with effect from 1 March 2026. Motlekar has been with the Telkom Group for over 28 years, with experience spanning both commercial and financial roles across the business. Over the past year, he has led Telkom Business commercial activities, requiring close engagement with BCX and providing strong continuity during this transition.
