MTN South Africa Appoints Nalo Mokoena as Executive of Internal Audit to Strengthen Risk and Assurance
In her new role, she will be responsible for advancing technology-enabled, risk-intelligent assurance across the Group, supporting informed and strategic decision-making.
MTN South Africa has announced the appointment of Nalo Mokoena as its new Executive: Internal Audit, effective 1 February 2026. Mokoena joins the company with extensive senior leadership experience, having previously held key roles at Sasol and TotalEnergies.
A Chartered Accountant with more than a decade of experience in governance and financial stewardship, Mokoena brings deep expertise to MTN’s risk management and assurance frameworks. In her new role, she will be responsible for advancing technology-enabled, risk-intelligent assurance across the Group, supporting informed and strategic decision-making.
MTN South Africa said it looks forward to the leadership, insight, and technical strength Mokoena will contribute as she begins this new chapter with the company.
