Peach Payments Partners with Yoyo to Add Automatic Cashback Loyalty to Digit Pro POS

The enhancement expands the capabilities of the Digit Pro, which already supports alternative payment methods, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options, system integrations, and customised checkout screens.

African payment solution provider Peach Payments  has partnered with Yoyo  to integrate automatic cashback loyalty rewards into its Digit Pro POS device.

The enhancement expands the capabilities of the Digit Pro, which already supports alternative payment methods, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options, system integrations, and customised checkout screens.

The new solution allows customers to earn and redeem rewards automatically when they pay using a bank card, ApplePay, or Google Pay. No additional apps, QR codes, or separate hardware are required, streamlining the checkout experience for both merchants and consumers.

It is ideal for restaurants, cafés, service centres and retail stores, which consumers visit regularly. The fact that they can earn and burn their rewards by simply paying for their purchases with their regular credit or debit card makes it an easy option for both consumers and merchants. ”

Yoyo’s bank card-linked loyalty product first launched in Platō Coffee shops in 2025, where it saw strong customer adoption. Shoppers preferred using their bank card as a loyalty identifier, reducing friction at checkout.

Traditionally, loyalty programmes operated separately from the payment process, requiring customers to swipe a loyalty card or scan an app, while merchants relied on standalone systems to track rewards. With the new integrated approach, loyalty is triggered directly at checkout, turning the POS terminal into a key channel for customer engagement and repeat behaviour.

Peach Payments has piloted the solution over the past few months with three coffee shop chains and is now rolling it out to merchants using Peach Payments POS devices.
