MTN Nigeria has been recognized for outstanding network performance at the Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC26), receiving multiple honors from Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis. The accolades include the Speedtest Awards for Fastest 5G in Western Africa, as well as Best Mobile Network and Best Mobile Video Experience in Nigeria.
Ookla highlighted that these awards showcase MTN Nigeria’s commitment to delivering top-tier connectivity and superior mobile experiences. The announcement was made during the ongoing MWC26, where MTN Nigeria representatives, including Yahaya Ibrahim, celebrated the achievement.
