Zamani Telecom Engages Ministry to Strengthen Collaboration and Investment in Niger

During the meeting, Zamani Telecom presented proposals to the Ministry aimed at supporting government initiatives, including a major recommendation to amend the current investment code to encourage further investments and strengthen collaboration with national authorities.

The Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Niger  conducted an official visit to Zamani Telecom  on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The visit included a tour of the company’s General Management premises and discussions with various managers to better understand the telecom operator’s operations and infrastructure.

During the meeting, Zamani Telecom presented proposals to the Ministry aimed at supporting government initiatives, including a major recommendation to amend the current investment code to encourage further investments and strengthen collaboration with national authorities. The visit also provided an opportunity for the Ministry to evaluate key company facilities, notably the post-06 data center.

Accompanying the Minister were the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Mashoul Abdoul Nasser, and the Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Ghadfi Mohamed. Speaking to the press after the visit, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the insights gained from the field engagement and emphasized the importance of understanding on-the-ground realities to support Niger’s ongoing development in the telecommunications sector.
