2 min read

Kashy offers a wide range of digital financial services, including money transfers, cash outs, e-wallet funding as well as cash withdrawal via mobile phone.

As part of its commitment to digital transformation and in perfect alignment with the international financial strategy that combines technology and finance (Fintech), Tunisie Telecom  announces the official launch of Kashy, its new mobile payment application.

This initiative is part of a strategic partnership with Viamobile,  the first payment institution approved by the Central Bank of Tunisia in April 2021.

The launch ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the presence of the Minister of Communication Technologies, Mr. Sofiene Hemissi, the Chairman and CEO of Tunisie Telecom Mr. Lassâad Ben Dhiab and the officials of the two partners.

Kashy bills itself as an innovative digital wallet that allows users to access a full range of electronic payment services. The application will be gradually deployed through about thirty Tunisie Telecom commercial spaces spread throughout the national territory.

Kashy offers a wide range of digital financial services, including money transfers, cash outs, e-wallet funding as well as cash withdrawal via mobile phone.

Designed to meet new digital uses, the application offers a simple, fast and secure user experience, based on the mobile phone number as a unique identifier.

“With Kashy, Tunisie Telecom confirms its ambition to play a central role in the country’s digital transformation and in the implementation of the national decashing strategy, by expanding its scope of action beyond its historical core business in order to transform itself from a connectivity operator to a service operator.”
