The partnership builds on an already established relationship between the two institutions, with IZB continuing to provide critical support in areas such as liquidity and float management.

MTN MoMo Zambia  has announced a strategic partnership with Indo Zambia Bank (IZB)  aimed at expanding digital payment capabilities across the country. The collaboration will enable customers to pay for goods and services using MoMo at all IZB point-of-sale (POS) terminals nationwide, significantly increasing the accessibility and convenience of mobile money transactions.

The partnership builds on an already established relationship between the two institutions, with IZB continuing to provide critical support in areas such as liquidity and float management. Additionally, the integration is strengthened through seamless fund transfers facilitated by the national financial switch, ensuring efficient and secure transactions for users.

By leveraging IZB’s extensive network of branches and POS terminals, MTN MoMo Zambia is set to broaden the reach of its services, allowing more customers and merchants to participate in digital payments. This move is expected to simplify everyday transactions while supporting businesses with more flexible payment options.

Overall, the collaboration underscores MTN MoMo Zambia’s commitment to driving financial inclusion and accelerating the adoption of a cashless economy. It also highlights ongoing efforts to promote digital commerce and enhance secure payment systems across Zambia.
