Telecom Namibia Gifts 30 Smartphones to Brave Gladiators Following Landmark COSAFA Win

Telecom Namibia proudly handed over 30 smartphones to the senior women’s national football team, the Brave Gladiators, and its technical management in recognition of their historic victory at the 2025 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship.
On 1 March 2026, the Brave Gladiators were crowned COSAFA Women’s Champions for the first time in history, defeating hosts South Africa 2–1 in a dramatic final at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
This achievement has been widely celebrated across the country. Following the win, the team received national recognition, including an official congratulatory ceremony hosted at the State House, underscoring the significance of this accomplishment for Namibian women’s football.

The total sponsorship, valued at approximately N$100 000 includes 30 smartphones for the Brave Gladiators’ players and technical team. Each device is equipped with a starter pack and a 31-day JIVA bundle, valid for three months.
