Telecom Namibia Announces Temporary Fixed and Mobile Data Service Degradation

Telecom Namibia  has issued a public notice confirming a temporary degradation affecting both fixed and mobile data services across parts of its network.

According to the statement dated 1 April 2026, users in affected areas may experience intermittent connectivity and reduced broadband speeds. The company explained that the disruption is impacting both fixed-line and mobile data services.

The operator assured customers that its technical teams are actively working around the clock to resolve the issue and restore services to normal performance levels as quickly as possible.

Telecom Namibia emphasized the importance of reliable connectivity for daily activities and apologized for any inconvenience caused during the outage period.

Customers seeking assistance or further information have been advised to contact the company’s Customer Contact Centre via the designated hotline or WhatsApp support channel provided in the notice.

The situation highlights ongoing network resilience challenges as telecom providers continue to manage infrastructure demands across Namibia.
