1 min read

Under this collaboration, Inwi will design, deploy, and operate Morocco’s first private 5G network dedicated to industrial use.

Inwi  has announced a major strategic milestone in Morocco’s telecom and industrial connectivity landscape through a new partnership with China Mobile International Limited,  one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators.

Under this collaboration, Inwi will design, deploy, and operate Morocco’s first private 5G network dedicated to industrial use. The network will serve one of China Mobile International’s key regional clients, marking a significant step forward in the country’s advanced connectivity infrastructure.

The project is positioned as one of the largest private 5G installations in Africa, underscoring Morocco’s growing role in next-generation telecom deployment and industrial digital transformation across the continent.

To deliver this large-scale initiative, Inwi is also leveraging its long-standing partnership with Huawei. Together, the two companies have developed a comprehensive private 5G offering tailored for Moroccan enterprises, spanning multiple strategic sectors and enabling advanced industrial use cases.

This development reinforces Inwi’s commitment to accelerating digital innovation and supporting Morocco’s transition toward high-performance, intelligent industrial networks.
