New Morocco and Gabon Agreement Focuses on Digital Skills and Capacity Building
Through this collaboration, Morocco and Gabon reaffirm their shared ambition to leverage digital technologies as a catalyst for economic transformation, while promoting sustainable and inclusive development across their economies.
Morocco and Gabon have signed a bilateral agreement to strengthen cooperation in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, marking a key outcome of the 4th edition of GITEX Africa Morocco 2016 held in Marrakech from April 7 to 9.
The protocol of agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Reform of the Administration of Morocco and the Ministry of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation of Gabon, with a focus on structuring bilateral collaboration across digital and AI-driven sectors.
The partnership is designed to facilitate the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and best practices, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. As part of the agreement, both countries have also committed to implementing capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening digital skills and fostering innovation talent in Gabon.
