The partnership marks a new phase in digital cooperation between the United States and Africa and expands Cybastion’s Digital Fast Track program, which focuses on accelerating digital transformation across the continent.

U.S. technology company Cybastion  has signed a strategic partnership with the Democratic Republic of the Congo to strengthen digital infrastructure and enhance national cybersecurity capabilities.

The agreement was formalized during a high-level reception in Washington, D.C., held on the sidelines of the IMF–World Bank Spring Meetings, bringing together government officials, investors, and technology leaders to discuss opportunities in Africa’s expanding digital economy.

The partnership marks a new phase in digital cooperation between the United States and Africa and expands Cybastion’s Digital Fast Track program, which focuses on accelerating digital transformation across the continent.

The initiative will support the development of key digital sectors in the DRC, including data centers, connectivity, cybersecurity, fintech, and artificial intelligence. It also aims to strengthen investment flows and promote long-term digital capacity building.

The Minister of Digital Economy of the DRC, H.E. Augustin Kibassa Maliba, said the agreement aligns with the country’s ambition to advance digital sovereignty, expand connectivity, and develop local talent to support the growing digital economy.

Cybastion leadership noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to building secure and resilient digital ecosystems capable of supporting sustainable economic growth in the region.
