The ICT lab is providing learners with practical exposure to digital tools, helping them develop foundational skills in computing and problem-solving.

The Safaricom Foundation  has highlighted the impact of its latest digital education initiative at Kibigori Railways School, where a newly established ICT laboratory is transforming how students learn and engage with technology.

In a classroom setting that once relied solely on traditional teaching tools, learning has now expanded into a more interactive and connected experience. Students are increasingly engaging with digital platforms, exploring coding, and accessing a wider world of information through technology-enabled learning.

The ICT lab is providing learners with practical exposure to digital tools, helping them develop foundational skills in computing and problem-solving. This shift is contributing to a more modern learning environment where curiosity and digital exploration are becoming central to the educational experience.

Through this initiative, students are being introduced to new ways of learning that go beyond textbooks and chalkboards, equipping them with skills that are increasingly relevant in a technology-driven world.

The programme reflects broader efforts to support digital inclusion in education and empower the next generation with the tools needed to participate in the evolving digital economy.
