MTN South Africa  has handed over a new multimedia centre at Mzikayise Dalasile Senior Secondary School in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Education, as part of efforts to improve digital learning access in rural communities.

The facility is equipped with digital workstations, internet connectivity, educator training support, and access to MTN Online School resources. It is designed to strengthen everyday teaching and learning while providing long-term educational support for both learners and teachers.

According to MTN South Africa, the initiative is aimed at promoting inclusion by ensuring that learners in rural areas have access to the same digital learning opportunities as their urban counterparts. The company emphasized that education remains a core focus of its social impact strategy through the MTN South Africa Foundation.

The project is intended to support sustained learning outcomes, helping students develop digital skills, conduct research, and access broader educational content beyond traditional classroom materials.
