Through the MTN Foundation, the initiative took place in Cloetesville, where the organisation partnered with the Department of Basic Education and the Department of Home Affairs as part of a broader multi-stakeholder effort to strengthen education delivery.

MTN South Africa  has reinforced its commitment to advancing education through digital inclusion, supporting educators with tools aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes.

Through the MTN Foundation,  the initiative took place in Cloetesville, where the organisation partnered with the Department of Basic Education and the Department of Home Affairs as part of a broader multi-stakeholder effort to strengthen education delivery.

While government agencies focused on providing essential services directly to learners, the MTN Foundation supported STEM educators at Cloetesville High School by providing laptops to enable more effective digital teaching and learning. The intervention is aimed at equipping teachers with the tools needed to deliver relevant, technology-driven education.

The initiative highlights the importance of sustained collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders in improving education outcomes. By investing in educators, MTN South Africa is positioning teachers to better prepare students for further education, employment, and participation in an increasingly digital economy.

The effort forms part of the MTN Foundation’s broader strategy to support education through access, digital inclusion, and long-term, impact-driven partnerships across South Africa.
