The platform will integrate booking and payment systems, while also enabling visitors to review and rate tourism experiences, helping to enhance transparency and service quality across the sector.

Cybastion  has presented an action plan to support the development of a national eTourism platform in Côte d’Ivoire, aimed at accelerating growth in the country’s tourism sector and strengthening its global competitiveness.

The proposal was delivered in mid-April to Siandou Fofana and senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure. The initiative aligns with the country’s national tourism brand, “Sublime Côte d’Ivoire,” and is designed to position the country as a leading destination while improving governance and increasing sector revenues.

At the core of the plan is the creation of a comprehensive eTourism platform that will allow users to plan, book, and manage travel across Côte d’Ivoire. The platform will integrate booking and payment systems, while also enabling visitors to review and rate tourism experiences, helping to enhance transparency and service quality across the sector.

The roadmap for implementation was outlined by Cybastion’s tourism leadership team, led by Fatoumata Komah. The next phase will focus on advancing deployment and ensuring alignment with national tourism priorities.

Expected to go live within the year, the platform is being developed under the “Digital Solutions” pillar of Cybastion’s Digital Fast Track programme, an initiative aimed at accelerating Africa’s digital sovereignty. The project reflects a broader push to leverage technology to drive job creation, diversify economies, and unlock sustainable growth through tourism across the continent.
