Smart Africa and SAP Partner to Accelerate AI Adoption and Digital Maturity Across Africa

Through this membership, SAP brings its global expertise in enterprise software, data management, and artificial intelligence to support digital transformation efforts across African governments and businesses.

Smart Africa  has announced that SAP  has officially joined the alliance as a private sector member, with the agreement formalized during a signing ceremony held on the sidelines of #GITEXAfrica.

Through this membership, SAP brings its global expertise in enterprise software, data management, and artificial intelligence to support digital transformation efforts across African governments and businesses. The collaboration is expected to contribute to strengthening data governance frameworks, advancing digital maturity, and accelerating the adoption of AI-driven solutions to enhance competitiveness and innovation.

Smart Africa noted that the partnership aligns with its broader mission to drive digital integration and inclusive growth across the continent by fostering collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders.

Both parties emphasized that the collaboration reflects a shared vision of building a more resilient, connected, and inclusive digital future for Africa, supported by scalable technology solutions and strengthened institutional capacity.
