Airtel Tanzania and VETA Strengthen Digital Learning and Job Linkage Platform
The programme is designed to expand access to digital education and vocational training by delivering learning content through mobile and online systems, helping young people build practical skills in various professional fields.
Airtel Tanzania, in collaboration with the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) , is continuing to strengthen its digital learning initiative through the Airtel VSOMO platform, with a goal of reaching more than 400 students every month.
The programme is designed to expand access to digital education and vocational training by delivering learning content through mobile and online systems, helping young people build practical skills in various professional fields.
Through the partnership, graduates from different vocational courses will also be connected to VETA’s digital ecosystem, including the Funi Connect system, which is intended to link trained youth to employment and self-employment opportunities.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between training and the job market by ensuring that students not only gain skills but also have access to platforms that connect them directly to potential work opportunities.
By combining digital learning through the VSOMO platform with employment linkage systems such as Funi Connect, the programme is positioned to support youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and skills-driven economic participation across Tanzania.
